UPPITY GIRLS (Davisson-J, 2022)

UPPITY GIRLS is a 9-inch dark lavender bitone with a lighter lavender watermark and sepals plus a wide diamond-dusted chartreuse throat. Sepals twist, curl, and hook. Tall, stately 42" scapes have 4- and 5-way branching, 16 to 23 buds, and display the blooms perfectly. From a cross of CURT'S GIFT X ((LOUD GIRLS X WHITE EYES PINK DRAGON) x unknown)), I'm fairly certain the "unknown" is WALT LOWRY. Beautiful foliage with hard dormant plant habit. Easily fertile both ways. Outstanding in a clump. Tetraploid. $125 SF
